St. George's Park is also the home of FA Learning, The FA’s educational department. Through the delivery of national coach education courses, St. George’s Park will provide a platform for the communication of The Future Game philosophy, which outlines a vision for the development of English football.
The Future Game will be brought to life in the football centre which includes a full-sized indoor third generation football pitch equipped with a viewing gallery for up to 200 people, a 60mx40m multipurpose indoor sports hall, 11 full size outdoor pitches and one elite DESSO training pitch which is an exact replica of Wembley.
Players, coaches, guests and athletes from other sports have the opportunity to access the very best medical and sports science facilities on site.
The goal is to become the first FIFA F Marc Centre of Medical Excellence in the UK. This world class facility is available to use by national and international football clubs, as well as other sports and business organisations to drive excellence in performance.
Last month, Frans Hoek visited Cap FC with words of encouragement and challenge to work and train at your best at all times.
Cap FC has been established to train young people about life through the simple game of soccer. Cap FC is quickly growing to become a great option for kids to learn and play competitive soccer with top level training here in this region. Cap FC was established in December 2005 and continues to add teams to serve the needs of kids and families in the Sacramento region.
With more than 180 coaches to attend, the International Coaches Course 2013 at Norcal Premier Soccer in San Francisco, was a great succes.
Course Details:
The course is aimed at Coaches working with players age U14 - U20.
Each clinician was asked to teach the different phases of the game – to reflect the trainings in their club style and system of play.
The Santa Cruz City Youth Soccer Club is hosting the Club and Team Development Camp, created by Frans Hoek.
Several Dutch coaches who work in the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) are teaching at the excellent Branciforte turf field according to the common, successful system that has spread Dutch players and coaches far and wide.
